They are authenticated by a third party (PSA, Beckett, CGC, SGC), they have transparent comp data on Card Ladder and PSA Auction Prices Realized, they store in a small space, and the modern collector base in Miami-Dade and Broward is enormous. From the Wynwood card-show circuit to the Coral Gables breakers running case breaks on Whatnot, the demand is here. Graded Sports Cards We Buy and Loan On
Bring in any major-grader slab and we will pull comps in front of you. We work primarily from PSA Auction Prices Realized and Card Ladder for current sales velocity, then make an offer based on the eBay-fee-adjusted, sell-through net. That last part matters: a 1000 dollar PSA 9 that someone “sold” on eBay nets the seller closer to 850 after fees, shipping, and PayPal. We start the conversation from that real number, not the gross sale price.
Vintage Sports (pre-1980)
1952 Topps Mantle #311, T206 cards, 1933 Goudey Ruth and Gehrig, 1948 Leaf, 1957 Topps, 1968 Topps Ryan rookie #177, 1969 Topps Reggie Jackson #260, 1979-80 O-Pee-Chee Gretzky #18. Vintage condition sensitivity is real, so we lean heavily on the slab grade and the eye-appeal of the surface and centering. SGC slabs are particularly strong here; their tuxedo holder is well-respected for vintage and we pay accordingly.
Junk Wax Through 90s Inserts
1986 Fleer Jordan #57, 1989 Upper Deck Griffey #1, 1993 SP Foil Jeter #279, 1996-97 Topps Chrome Kobe #138, 1997 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems. Population matters here more than nostalgia. A PSA 10 Jordan rookie still moves; a PSA 8 from the same set is a different conversation. Bring it in either way.
Modern Prizm, Bowman, Topps Chrome, Panini
Bowman Chrome 1st Auto refractors and color parallels, Panini Prizm rookie autos (silver, color, downtown, kaboom), Topps Chrome rookie refractors, National Treasures RPAs, Optic, Select, Donruss Optic Holo, Mosaic. We are particularly active on rookie-year autos of currently relevant players: Wembanyama, Caitlin Clark, Bobby Witt Jr., CJ Stroud, Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic, and the perennial blue-chip names like Mahomes, Mantle, Jordan, Brady. Numbered parallels and 1/1s get individually comped.
Raw Cards (Beckett Raw Card Review & Pre-Grades)
Yes, we look at raw. We are not going to pay slabbed comps on a raw card, but if you have a clean vintage piece or a modern card with strong centering, corners, and surface that we believe will grade a 9 or 10, we will make an offer based on the realistic post-grade value minus grading cost and risk. We use Beckett’s raw grading framework as a reference; you can read about it at Beckett.

Pokemon is the engine of the modern TCG market and we treat it that way. We buy and loan on sealed product and graded singles across vintage WOTC and modern Sword & Shield / Scarlet & Violet eras.
Sealed Booster Boxes & ETBs
- WOTC vintage: Base Set (Shadowless and Unlimited), Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge, Neo Genesis, Neo Discovery, Neo Revelation, Neo Destiny. Booster boxes only command top dollar with intact factory shrink, no shelf wear, no bottom-corner crush, and ideally a clear case-fresh provenance.
- Modern chase sets: Evolving Skies, Crown Zenith, Lost Origin, Silver Tempest, Brilliant Stars, Fusion Strike, Hidden Fates, Shining Fates, Champions Path, 151, Paldean Fates, Paradox Rift. Booster boxes, ETBs, Upper Deck cases when we can get them.
- Japanese product: VSTAR Universe, 151 JP, Pokemon Card 151 promos, Shiny Treasure ex. Japanese sealed has a strong Florida secondary market and we buy it.
Sealed product is condition-driven. We grade visually for shrink integrity, factory tab, shelf wear on the bottom edge, and dimple/dent on the cardboard. A “near-case-fresh” Evolving Skies booster box is a different number than one that has been on a shelf for 18 months.
Graded Pokemon Singles
PSA dominates Pokemon grading by volume but CGC has gained real traction with vintage WOTC because of their crossover with comic grading, and BGS holds value on Black Label 10s and high-subgrade copies. We price each on its own comps.
- 1st Edition Shadowless Base Set: Charizard #4, Blastoise #2, Venusaur #15, the holo rares. PSA 10 Charizard 1st Ed is a six-figure card; PSA 9 and PSA 8 still trade in serious money.
- WOTC promos and trophy cards: Pikachu Illustrator (we have seen exactly one in 30 years and we know what it is), Tropical Mega Battle, No. 1 / No. 2 / No. 3 Trainer, Snap cards.
- Modern chase singles: Umbreon VMAX Alt Art (Evolving Skies 215), Charizard VMAX Rainbow, Giratina V Alt Art, Lugia V Alt Art (Silver Tempest 186), Moonbreon, Charizard ex 199 (Obsidian Flames), Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat.

We typically write tickets in the 30-90 day window and customers can redeem any time before the due date. You pay interest only for the days you actually held the loan. Your slab sits in our climate-controlled safe in the original holder, untouched, until you walk back in and pay off the ticket. What grading companies do you accept?
PSA, BGS (Beckett Grading Services), CGC, and SGC. These are the four majors with transparent population reports and live secondary-market data. Learn more at PSA and BGS. We do not accept slabs from off-brand graders (HGA, GMA, etc.) at slabbed-comp pricing — we will price those as raw cards, because that is how the market prices them.
Do you buy raw cards?
Yes, but with realistic pricing. A raw card is priced as a raw card, not as a “what if it grades 10” hypothetical. If we believe the card is a strong grading candidate, we factor that in — but we discount for grading cost (30-100 dollars per card depending on tier and turnaround) and grading risk. Vintage raw and modern pack-fresh both work.
What is a fair pawn loan amount on a $1,000 PSA 9 card?
Generally we can lend somewhere in the 500-700 dollar range on a comp-confirmed 1,000 dollar PSA 9, depending on liquidity of the player and set. Cards with deep daily-volume comps (Mahomes, Jordan rookies, modern Charizard) get the higher end. Niche players or thin-comped sets get the lower end. The bigger and more liquid your card, the closer to 70 percent of fair market we can write.
Do you buy sealed boxes that are not graded?
Absolutely — sealed product does not need a grade. We do, however, look closely at factory shrink, shelf wear, and provenance for vintage WOTC. CGC does grade sealed booster boxes now (CGC Sealed) and a CGC 9.5 or 10 sealed box is a real premium over a raw sealed box of the same set. If you have CGC Sealed product, even better.
Do you accept Japanese Pokemon and JP sealed?
Yes. Japanese sealed (VSTAR Universe, 151 JP, Shiny Treasure ex) and Japanese vintage (No Rarity Base, e-Series) all have legitimate Florida buyers. PSA-graded Japanese is fine; CGC-graded Japanese is fine. We comp it the same way we comp English.
What about modern Panini Prizm, Bowman 1st autos, and Topps Chrome?
Heavy yes. Bowman Chrome 1st Auto refractor parallels (especially of currently producing big-league prospects), Prizm rookie color parallels, Topps Chrome rookie autos, and modern National Treasures RPAs are some of our most active categories.
Will you authenticate before making an offer?
For graded slabs, we verify the cert number against the grader’s online database while you watch. For sealed product, we inspect shrink and seal integrity in front of you. For raw high-end cards (think 5,000+ dollar Black Lotus, vintage Mantle, Pikachu Illustrator), we may ask for additional time or a second pair of eyes. We will tell you up front what we need to be confident.
Can I extend a pawn loan on a card?
Yes. Florida law allows extensions and we work with collectors on this. Most card pawns extend at least once. Just call or come in before the due date.
